Even thought you are gorgeous, even with a bald cap on(sort-of gorgeous enough to make me sick), I might have a nightmare about that brain squeezer and a bib on you.

I am new to your blog for the last couple months {love it!} and think this post is so funny! I love it! You might want to clarify that this isn't just a baby trend anymore... It is becoming a HUGE trend in Utah (and other places) for grown women to wear these also?? I have friends who are making them and selling them on their blogs for women! Ahh. Maybe my idea of fashion has gone down hill, but seriously it can't be good can it?! I would love to know your thoughts on the adult brain squeezer!? :)

DizzyLizzy said...

Love this post. Definitely one of the best EVER!!!

Emily said...

Your face could not have captured the "brain squeezer" agony more!

(totally not a fan BTW, I am from Utah, but not from Utah if you know what I'm sayin'. I firmly believe in the idea that the girl should wear the dress, not the dress wear the girl.)

Same goes for hair accessories.

Libby said...

You are lucky, you make a very pretty bald lady :)

Lisa said...

That is the creepiest thing ever. And it's just as creepy on a little girl! Don't mothers realize this?!

Noelle said...

HA HA HA HA HA. Priceless. Probably shouldn't let these picture re-surface for fear that a potential suitor might see them.

Wish I could hear the audio of you two doing this shoot, I can only imagine what you were saying...

jessica,

any publicity is good publicity...

and that sponsors headbands are tastefully appropriate in size.

This is an old post, but I cannot tell you how much it resonates with me!!! I have always disliked those giant brain squeezing floral headbands. Always. I have two boys and two little girls, the girls came second, and I cannot tell you how many of those headbands I've received for my girls. They haven't worn any of them. I'm definitely the fan of small, pretty bows. Definitely.

Unknown said...

Wow Hilarious! Thank you! I do not like the headbands at all! Please stick to the tiny bows... girlie glue can handle it!

Unknown said...

Hilarious! Yes please lets stick to small bows. Stick them on. girlie glue!

Darcey said...

Haha that's awesome! Totally the same size ratio as the ones they put on tiny babies. For the love!
