i have to give my two cents. our temples are sacred, not secret. with that said, let's keep them sacred and not pass emails around telling people about the picture in the tv guide. i mean, aren't we just as guilty as the person that published it if we're emailing everyone and their brother the picture? true, i think the church is classy, but i'm just sick of getting a million emails soliciting the photo. thank you for just posting a pic of the temple and the church response, and NOT the actual photo
Loved it! I kind of think the same thing- the more attention you give to it, the bigger issue it becomes. It gave me a lot of comfort about so many things.
I'm not sure if I've ever commented on your blog before but I am definitely a lurker. I have been struggling with how the Church has been portrayed so negatively lately. Thank you for posting this link. I hadn't seen it yet and it was really comforting.
I'm a 1st time commenter to your site, but I just had to say that I just barely forwarded that exact article to all my LDS emailers. Great article, and like you said, just plain classy!
Like a lot of other people, I got angry email forwards from church members yesterday (almost always with a link to the TV Guide photo). It's just stirring up more publicity. I think the "just don't look" response is best.

I got like 50 emails about this yesterday, and was so relieved to see this response from the Church. So neat.

Thanks for posting this link. A friend emailed it to me last night. The Church is classy. Does that makes us? :)
