This is right up there in my top SYTYCD routines.

They are just so gosh darn cute and amazingly talented.

i liked this routine a lot too! randi and evan are a strong couple.

i'm not sure how well you know randi, but i wouldn't mind a little inside scoop about something. i keep reading comments (on SYTYCDism) about how the routines are rigged and planned out by the producers, not random. while i think sometimes it's probably picked out for the couple's (i.e. last night's pas de duex), i can't believe that none of it is luck of the draw. that just seems like too much guesswork for my taste. sooo if you happen to be curious too, and randi can give an answer, i'd love to know. i'm a huge fan of the show (and of this blog - even though i don't comment. i have to say that one time you mentioned a richards family line - my hubby's grandma was a richards - yes, they tend to be some tongan like gene on that side - i think you were referencing looks in that post - let's hope at least.) oh, and i like run-on sentences!!!

cheers.

april,

here's how i understand it...
the pick out of the hat charade is just that... a charade.
the show decides what choreo/style people get.

joey has actually known/taught randi her entire life at dance club...it's obvious that the producers like randi bc they're giving her all of the great choreographers and popular styles....

hey, as long as it's "rigged", i'm happy it's rigged in her favor ;)

and i'm SO sorry about the rotund richards genes!

thanks for finding out for me. i guess that shouldn't surprise me.

would've loved to have heard you sing "now that i've seen her". love that song. good luck with "bye, bye birdie."

(really don't know what i meant by that richards comemnt. thankfully, it seems to have bypassed my girl. the boys just make great football players.)
