deal breaker
this has been posted on my facebook wall by 3 different friends in under one week.
it's obvious that my buddies know me. they really know me.
i feel bad for the guy i schooled when he used "YUR" interchangeably in both tenses multiple times..
guess i shouldn't be surprised that i never heard from him again...
i just can't do acronyms or bad grammar.. even in text.
SRY. YUR still GR8. LOL. TY! BRB. LMAO!

hahaha. That's an awesome picture. The typos and facebook drive me crazy. They're even worse when they're on billboards. ha.
I walked into a Holiday oil gas station and up on the wall was a shirt for sale that said, "No, your the clown." UGH! I wanted to explain what was wrong with it, but was afraid they wouldn't get it even if I tried. Proper grammar is sexy!
Okay. This is my first time commenting on your blog, though I've been reading right along for maybe a month now (love, by the way!). But this is SUCH a pet peeve of mine that you've broken my silence!
I cannot STAND acronyms, misspellings, abbreviations; and I hate how a texting culture has somehow made this okay! A month or two ago, I wrote a blog post on how I'm apparently so bad at texting, IMing/gChatting, etc. simply because I can't be bothered to use abbreviations, therefore taking way too long to compose a message.
I mean, just look at the length of this comment... You get the idea! :)
(And I just re-read my comment, noticed TWO mistakes and had to repost. Apparently blogging culture IS getting the better of me!)
hahahaha!! that is my biggest gripe! LOVE it :)
While I may often fall into the "guardian of language" crowd, I greatly appreciated Stephen Fry's slam of pedants:

I hate it too! I literally get sick reading some of my friends' fb statuses.
What's happening to our language? Don't even get me started on cursing....
Also a pet peeve of mine. Funny though that it's yours, since you never even capitalize anything. :)
CHOOSING not to capitalize is a style choice.
using "YUR" is lazy and strange.
"r u planning on meeting up?"
"what r u up 2?"
This is okay if you're 12, not in your 40s. Yes, I've received texts like these from men in their 40s!!
Given up guys. It really isn't saving you time.
One of the reasons why I like visiting your blog so much is because it has become a daily reference I can use best pharmacy in order to learn new nice stuff. It's like a curiosities box that surprises you over and over again.
