I was wondering about her story. I knew SA was an LDS run company. (Is that the right verbiage?) But, I didn't know how it came about. This is great! I love her stuff!

Hey, we went to the same high school (although she was MUCH cooler than me)! I love seeing my classmates achieve great things.

Well hello, I'm just a closet stalker that's probably only commented on your blog maybe once before...but when I watched this I just had to echo your sentiments that she is remarkable! And I have to say that I ADORE Shabby Apple. Not only do they have beautiful clothing, but they are such a generous company. They are always supporting smaller-ish blogs by offering to do giveaways on them. Also, back in December I organized an online auction for my best friend whose 4 year old son was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Well my sister emailed shabby apple about donating an item for it and, without any hesitation, they donated a dress to it! I was so touched by their generosity. What an incredible company with an incredible founder!

Wow, that was so inspiring. To think that she had to change her life goals like that, and then to create a company out of nothing.
